This year I took the big leap to study full-time Honours in Ecology at UNE, and while I am loving every minute of it, my brain is too full of measuring pasture groundcover and landscape function to make space for anything else. Imogen got Cementa punters to wear their strategy hats last November at the first trial of the Game.
Kim and Lucas have been very busy working with collaborators in Mackay on a project that reimagines the relationship between sugarcane farming and The Reef, and has sunflowers at its heart. Kim’s penned some songs, Lucas has written some reflections and there’s a lovely video of a planting event last year too.
